Message I just got back from a family reunion in the Smokey Mountains this past weekend. My sister drove thru Knoxville, and I came thru Ashville, yet somehow ended up in Bryson City, NC at almost exactly the same time after two days of driving without planning to do so. I called her on my cell phone and we were at the same Ingles grocery store parking lot within 10 minutes. After shoppping, we came out to find her driver rear tire flat. Both of our cars were packed to the brim, but I alway travel with an electric air pump. We pumped the tire up, then rolled it backwards until we saw the screw head sticking into the tire, one tread in from the outer edge. The tire wasn't leaking fast so we drove back into town and stopped at the first place we saw, a Ford dealership. Now mind you, my sister is a real looker, but they threw her car up on the rack, patched the tire, and then didn't charge us a dime. Gotta love southern hospitality. We tipped the mechanic a double sawbuck, and went merrily on our way. All in all, was the most painless flat tire I ever experienced. That's it, end of story, lolam.
